Bonus - a recommendation for the 2nd Hobbit film (& a bit about the 1st)
A tale of Two Towers. Both alike in dignity, it was good times, it was bad times. We know we've had our share. (Ha, take that Chuck)
Ahhh, the last episode before the fabled #100. We wanted to make sure and get in our Tolkien-love, lest anyone out there thinks us all flotsam and jetsam in the realm of all things fantasy. Far from it. The Lord of the Rings movies are actually one of the foundations of stone that the Triforce was originally built upon.
You see, over many meetings of Mtn. Dew, Smash Bros. & roast mutton, the conspiracy was unmasked and we discovered our mutual affection for the Rankin-Bass version of The Hobbit. From then on, all of Jackson's films received a warm welcome from the Sluts.
So, here's the first chapter in our Tolkien-sodes, as we cover The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
Oh, and in all our excited commotion (you'll see/hear) we kinda spaced on the Karl Urban. While there were moments of Sad Keanu, no bones about it Karl, we didn't Dredd your performance. There were times you went into the Red, but we understand - you're Almost Human. Tee Hee...

The problem with improv is sometimes it's not that funny. Living off the the cuff, like we do, doesn't always reap the most succulent of fruit. Sometimes it's juicy, others it's not quite ripe. Here is another basket compilation of our mixed fruit, the next chapter in our "Flubisode" series: Part 2 - Flub Harder, The Flub Rides Again, Every Which Way but Flub.
However, worry not avid listeners. We didn't just toss all our CHUFFA into a crap crate & drop it on your doorstep.
Oh no, these are a choice selection of the moments that didn't quite make the cut this year. Outtakes, gags & a few nice (or nasty) iterations on a few subjects that we felt didn't merit inclusion in their respective episodes. Lucky for you, we amassed them all here for your listening pleasure. As with last December's Flubisode, the audio is a tad sketchy in some spots, so we thank you again for you perseverance in the listening of this episode.
These are what you get living mic by the drop, off the cuff, by the sword, and by the galley. Calgon, blow me away. Flint Ironstag. Big McLargeHuge!

Guest Host Joe
1984 vs 2010. Happy Days with a Drunken Master
Joe returns while Chris visits the fam in Salm(on) - surprise. The Karate Kid inspired many to kick their friends in the face. It is indefensible when your friends don't know what game you're playing. Is the remake as tough?
The remake has its own traits to be sure. It must be seen to see what it achieves. Both Joe & I had avoided this until having our Kung Fu (not Karate) hearts grow 3 sizes in the wake of Jaden Smith & Jackie Chan bringing this version of the story to a new generation.
Which will win? listen to this somewhat long-winded episode to find out.
listen side - side. and show us Sand the Floor.

Once upon a time, among the rolling hills & rain soaked streets of the Emerald City, the Cinema Sluts held a Disney Villain costume party.
"Once upon a time" was actually a few days ago & we felt the urge to touch on some of our favorite baddies with this week's episode. We already got the duds for it.
Neither of us is a HUGE Disney fan, but we felt these three needed a special shout out since each one of their villains are dynamic in their own way. Fast talking Gods, butt-hurt Goth chicks & over-ambitious Aviphiles are all the makings of quite a sinister soup.
Ladle up a portion & tell us what you think. Or don't - we're still doin' it. Oh, yea, we're evil too. a dash, a smidge. Alright, not really.
