Episode #157: That Song & That Movie

March 21st, 2015
Some movies are married to certain songs.  Like marriage, even when it ends, the songs still call up very specific memories.  The movies themselves are not necessarily game-changers (though we dig 'em), but the song connection is groot-like; as in strong.  Guardians soundtrack, anyone?  That movie actually shares a song from one of these soundtracks.

Though each of these movies were a big wave in their time, not everyone has seen them.  The crazy thing is they may still get the reference from hearing about it or seeing the scenes referred to in a TV show.  The 1st 2 tracks are not done all the time, but when you see the crowd banging their heads during the 3rd track at karaoke, the 3rd film will unlock the mystery of the strangers who each seem to know All the Right Moves.

Alright gang, take off your pants (but leave the shirt & socks on), grab a razor & a gas can, and try not to honk in the car.
