It is what is says: listen if you've seen the show. If not - the previous episode is a non-spoiler discussion of the series.

Join Matt this episode for one of his favorite recent horror shows. A 9-layer bean dip of dread, this series rules all by putting so much into every character you see. Hear the slobber through your ear pieces! Do it!

We already covered the mini-series, so we are overdue in considering how the films rounded out. So, uh, here we are. BTW, the flicks are rated 73% & 65% on IMDB. Matt says more like 83/75.

GUEST HOST: THE BOB!!!
The good doctor graces our 2nd mic to wax on & off about some Stephen King, both on screen & on the page. Possibly breaking a record for the longest recording session to date, this had to be broken up into 2 episodes. The discussion of Dr. Sleep will follow in 2 weeks.
Guess what? - the lazy scene transition we mentioned, turns out the scene itself took over 100 takes!!! Guess that's where the focus was. Here's a vid about it.

Another visit to Fincher Corner brings about a movie we've long wanted to cover. Not necessarily your typical murder mystery, it dramatizes an actual killer & his actual pursuers. Um, played by actors of course, but a tremendous amount of effort was involved
to include some of the real folks as consultants. Check it out!

- Red Lights (Elizabeth Olsen)
- Waking Madison (Elizabeth Shue)
- Man on a Ledge (Elizabeth Banks)
All these Elizabeths have been in my orbit lately, so paying them tribute seemed the only way to go. Trusting each of them as actors, all 3 movies were unseen prior to the episode. Happy to report I have happy things to report. Take a sniff: it smells like a burger, a soccer ball, and a hammer!

- Widows/
- Alita: Battle Angel/
- Wonder Woman/
Our 1st shuffle-sode of the decade!! With varying levels of financial success, all 3 of these movies are tremendous to us. May they all gain the notoriety they deserve as quality entertainment.
- The Sia song is actually from Wonder Woman, not Alita, so watch THOSE credits with your kids!

- Gerald's Game/
- In the Tall Grass/
- 1922/
Stephen King is so legendary that you'll waste your time seeking a person that doesn't know who he is. Lately, seeing everything of his produced on screen is becoming very difficult - too many to keep track of for a mere mortal. Clearly Netflix likes his stuff, and clearly the Sluts like Netflix, so it just made sense to do this episode as we round out October. A variety of horror style flavors with good performances all around.

Have no fear of something new - it's just another way to say "Shuffle-sode." This time the flicks were truly grabbed out of a bag, so it seemed appropriate. As we hope to start fires in your mind for movies to shove in your eyes, Matt enjoyed a newly kindled flame this episode. See how these 3 decades brought their entertainment game...

- Hobbs & Shaw (Fast n Furious)
- Mission Impossible: Fallout
Taking a look at the last 2 summers for action, we compare the approaches to the genre. A strong uptick over the last 5 summers has brought our expectations for action pieces to an extreme level, and not everyone can provide what some of us demand - as the title shows...
Matt forgot to mention plot struggles for the characters with MI vs. Hobbs & Shaw: the MI film series has become infamous with difficult entry/espionage, usually with setbacks that are exciting to watch & wonder how they'll recover. While Michael Giacchino has done extraordinary things with the MI theme, Balfe really excels in this one!
